Description
As a Behavioural Analytics Consultant, you will play a key role in bridging business needs with data solutions. You will work hands-on with data while maintaining a strong focus on business impact, helping our clients – primarily in the financial sector – make better decisions through behaviourally-informed analytics. Your role will be to turn complex business questions into clear analytical tasks, facilitate meaningful data discussions, and support the development of impactful solutions together with our interdisciplinary team. While your core focus will be on analytics, you may also be involved in a broader range of strategic and behavioural consulting projects, reflecting the interdisciplinary nature of BeHive’s work.
Your responsibilities would be the following:
- Work closely with clients and internal teams to translate business challenges into data questions and define analytical approaches
- Conduct hands-on data work, including cleaning, transforming, and analysing datasets, performing feasibility checks, and supporting the team with data-driven insights.
- Drive and facilitate data-related conversations with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Assess data availability, structure, and quality for upcoming or ongoing projects
- Collaborate with behavioural scientists, consultants, and data scientists to co-develop solutions with measurable business impact
- Contribute to building BeHive’s analytical capabilities by keeping our methods sharp and evolving
WHAT WE NEED
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Experience in analytics, consulting, or related data-driven roles
- Proven ability to frame business problems as analytical questions and design appropriate data approaches
- Experience in at least one analytical language (e.g. Python, R); Python preferred
- Understanding of machine learning principles and how they apply to real-world business use cases (supervised learning, clustering)
- Hands-on experience in preparing, cleaning, and structuring data and experience in exploratory data analysis to uncover patterns, validate hypotheses, and identify opportunities
- Academic background in a quantitative, behavioural, or business-oriented field, such as Data Science, Economics, Psychology, Business, or a related area (Master’s is an advantage)
- Interest in Behavioural Science and its practical applications
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in Hungarian and English
- Open, proactive mindset, with the ability to learn quickly and work across disciplines
